How does the trial work?

Once you sign up for our trial, you will have access to Collect for 7 days. You can also invite 4 team members to test our collaboration features.

During this trial period, you will be able to send 20 requests with limited storage.

Advanced features like the Zapier Integration, our API, or "White label" are not accessible during the trial. If you want to test them, just drop us a line on chat or send an email to team@usecollect.com.

We will notify you before the end of your trial. Thereafter, your data will remain in Collect, but access to your information will be locked.

You will then be prompted to upgrade to one of our plans.

How to create your first campaign?

Navigate to the All campaigns menu using the left navigation bar.
Click on the Create a new campaign button present on the top right of the page.
This will open up the campaign creation page. In the first step, named Elements, start by adding the information elements of your choice.

You can find more information regarding the addition of these elements here.

Click on the Save and Continue button present on the bottom right to proceed to the second step of the process called Follow-up.
You can set up the Due Date for the request in step and schedule a message sequence.
Click on the Save and Continue button present on the bottom right to proceed to the third step of the process that is named Configuration.
You can provide the campaign name by entering text into the text field corresponding to the Campaign name block.
Subsequently, you can select branding using the drop-down menu present in the Branding block.
Another mandatory field that you must provide is the request headline, which can be provided by entering into the text field corresponding to the Headline section of the Collect Portal block.
Click on the Save and Continue button present on the bottom right to proceed to the last process step named Review. This step provides a preview of the designed portal.

How to Send the Portal Link to Your Customer

To share the portal link with your customers, you have two options:

Using the Built-in Follow-ups

When setting up your campaign, you can create an email sequence that will automatically be sent to your customers every time you create a new request. For example, you can send an email when the request is created and schedule follow-ups a few days later if they haven’t submitted the portal.

Customize your message sequence

These emails include a unique link to the portal. This way, your customers can easily access their requests without having to manually search for them.

Sharing the URL Manually

If you prefer to share the URL manually, you can do so by following these steps:

Navigate to the request you want to share.
Locate the icon near the request name.
Click on the "Share portal link" link.
In the new modal that appears, you will see the different recipients of this request and you will be able to copy the portal link for each one.

Can I delete my account?

Can I Delete My Account?

We will be very sad to see you go, but you can of course delete your account.

Yes! You can do that in the Plan and billing section of your settings. Simply scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the "Close this account" link.

To avoid any accidental deletion, you will be prompted to type "deletemyaccount" to confirm that you want to delete your account (1), then press the button "Yes, delete it!" (2).

This option is only available for team admins.

Please note: Destroying an account will cause the loss of all data and files associated with it. This action can't be undone.

Can you send a request to multiple contacts?

Yes, you can send the same request to multiple contacts.

How to set up "multiple contributors" in your campaign?

To send a request to multiple contacts, activate the option in the "configuration" step of the campaign setup.

Go to "advanced settings" and click on "The request can have multiple contributors".

In the options of this feature, you will see two parameters:

Emails: Personalize the email that will be sent to new contributors of the request when they are added after the creation of the request. If they are added to the request when it is created, they will receive the same communication as the main contact.
CC emails: If you select this option, the main contact and contributors will receive the exact same email. The main contact will be the recipient and the contributors will be CCed. By selecting this option, all your contacts will receive the exact same link and you won't be able to know who has done what on the portal.

To begin, click on the "Send a request" button located at the top of the menu.

Next, select the campaign you wish to use (make sure that "multiple contributors" has been checked, as described above).
