# How to upload a document to be sign specific to a request?

When adding an e-signature to the campaign (or a specific request), you can choose not to use a template and instead upload your own documents to sign.

In the advanced settings, you will find a "Documents" section. Here, you can upload your documents (1). After uploading, [you can add auto-place tabs](https://help.usecollect.com/en/article/how-to-use-auto-place-tabs-with-the-docusign-integration-ofcywr/) (2).
