# What are the different envelope statuses available in Collect?

Your envelopes can have different statuses in Collect:

- **Setup**: Finalize the setup of the envelope.
- **Creating**: The envelope is currently being created. This may take a few moments.
- **Waiting for Signature**: The envelope has been created but has not yet been signed.
- **Signed**: The envelope has been signed.

||| Important note: Deleting an e-signature element from Collect does not void the e-signature that has been stored in DocuSign.
