What is the maximum file size for documents uploads in Collect?
When collecting documents from your clients using Collect, you can define file size limits for each Document block — or allow uploads of any size within the platform’s limits.
By default, Collect supports file uploads of up to 2 GB per file for users on a paid plan.
This allows clients to easily upload large files such as:
High-resolution PDFs
Detailed financial reports
Multimedia files (images, videos, etc.)
When configuring a Document block, you can set specific file size restrictions in the Advanced settings:
Leave the field empty to allow any file size (up to the 2 GB limit)
Set a maximum file size (e.g., 50 MB) if you want to restrict uploads
Optionally, define a minimum file size if the document must meet certain content or quality thresholds
This helps you control upload behavior and avoid overly large or incomplete files.
If your use case requires accepting files larger than 2 GB, reach out to our customer support team. We’re happy to discuss increasing the file size limit to meet your needs.
