How to change a due date

In Collect, you can assign or modify the due date for a request at three different stages:

  1. During campaign setup
  2. While sending the request
  3. After the request has been sent

Here’s how each option works:

1. Set the due date during campaign creation

When creating a campaign, you’ll define the due date in the Follow-up step (step 2).

  • By default, the due date is set to 7 days after the request is sent
  • You can choose a specific date by selecting it from the calendar
  • Or, you can choose "No due date" if you don’t want to enforce a deadline

This sets the default due date for all requests sent using this campaign.

2. Change the due date while sending a request

You can adjust the due date right before sending a request.

Here’s how:

  1. Click Send request
  2. Select your campaign
  3. In the request setup panel, locate the Due date section
  4. Click Change to open the calendar picker

From here:

  • Select your preferred due date and click Change due date
  • Or click No due date (bottom-left of the popup) if you want to remove the deadline

This allows you to override the campaign’s default due date for this specific request.

3. Modify the due date after a request has been sent

If a request is already live, you can still update its due date using one of two methods:

a) From the campaign view list

  1. Go to the campaign dashboard
  2. Select the checkbox next to the request
  3. Click the Change due date icon (alarm clock) in the top menu
  4. Choose the new date in the popup calendar
  5. Click Change due date to confirm

You can also choose No due date if needed.

b) From the request detail view

  1. Open the specific request
  2. Click Actions (top right)
  3. Select Change due date from the dropdown
  4. Choose your new date from the calendar
  5. Click Change due date to apply the update

  • *You can also click on the due date directly.

Updating the due date helps keep your clients on track — while giving you the flexibility to adjust deadlines as needed.
