How to customise your Collect portal

You can customise the look and feel of your Collect portal in two main ways:

During campaign creation – update key content like headlines and side notes
Through Brandings – apply your logo, colours, language, and default text across campaigns

Both options help you tailor the client experience to match your brand and tone.

Customising during campaign creation

When you create a new campaign, you can define certain elements of the portal that are specific to that campaign — such as the headline (1) and side note (2).

Add a headline

In the Configuration step of the campaign editor, you’ll find the Headline field.
This headline appears in the sidebar of the portal, and on the left side of the screen on desktop.
It’s often used to display a friendly greeting or personalised message.
You can insert variables (e.g., client name, company name) using the variable picker on the left of the text field.
Click on the dropdown to choose a variable
Then click “Add this variable” to insert it
When the portal is live, these variables will be automatically filled in with your client’s information.

Example:
Welcome, {contact_firstName}!

Add a side note

Just below the headline, you can add a side note — a short line of supporting text that’s also displayed in the sidebar.

Use this for:
Helpful instructions
Contact information
A personal touch to guide the client

Variables can be added in the same way as in the headline, using the “Add a variable” button.

Example:
Let us know if you have any questions at support@yourcompany.com

Customising your portal using Brandings

Brandings allow you to set up a fully customised look for your portal — including logo, colour palette, language, and default text labels.

This is the best way to ensure your portal looks consistent across all campaigns.

How to access and edit Brandings:

Click on your user name in the top-right corner of the screen
Select Settings from the dropdown
In the left-hand sidebar, go to Brandings
You’ll see a list of your branding themes — click Edit on the one you want to customise

What you can customise in a branding:

Logo – Displayed on the portal header and in notification emails
Primary colour – Choose via the colour wheel or enter a HEX code
Language – Set the language of your portal interface
Text elements – Edit system messages, button labels, and instruction text

Once you’ve made your changes, click Save Branding at the bottom of the page.

Brandings can be reused across multiple campaigns, helping you maintain a consistent and branded client experience at scale.
