How to use auto-validation

Auto-validation in Collect allows you to automatically approve certain form responses or uploaded documents—saving time and streamlining your workflow.

What is auto-validation?

By default, when a customer submits a form or uploads a document, the item enters a “waiting for validation” status. This means a team member must manually review and approve or reject the submission.
With auto-validation, you can skip this manual step. The element will be automatically marked as validated as soon as the customer completes it.

When to use it

Auto-validation is useful when:

  • Some submissions don’t require manual review
  • You want to mix manual validation for critical elements and auto-validation for straightforward ones
  • You need to reduce the time spent on reviewing obvious or low-risk submissions

How to enable auto-validation

Step-by-step:
  • In your campaign builder, locate the form or document element.
  • Click Edit on the element.
  • Click the Settings button (top right of the element block).

  • In the settings menu, click Validation.

  • Enable the Auto-validation option.

Once enabled, all responses to this element will be automatically marked as approved upon submission.
